1. Check Your System Requirements.

Make sure that your computer is conforming to the minimum system requirements:

Windows Edition: Windows XP / Vista / 7 Minimum
RAM: 512Mb RAM
Disk space: 25Mb

To check this, right click on ‘Computer’ and next click on ‘Properties’ (see below)

To check your edition of Windows and the amount of RAM:

2.  How to make sure the installation has been successful.

Check your Start Menu to see if littleNudge exists

3. I have clicked on the icon "littlenudge" but nothing happens.

Some anti-virus software may ask you to confirm if you agree to install new software. This may happen when littleNudge is launched for the first time. If it does, check the settings on your anti-virus software, find the reference to littleNudge and set it to ‘Allow’ or ‘Trust’.

4. Message: C:\Windows\system32\mscoree.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.

The framework .net 3.5 is not installed / not installed correctly on your PC.

 First check to see if the framework is installed

To check:

-       Open windows explorer (Start -> Computer)

-       Navigate to the following folder: C:\Windows

-       Check to see if either of the following folder exists:

•  Microsoft.NET

-       If so open it and check to see if either of the following two folders exits

• Framework
• Framework64

-       If either of them do open them and make sure that one of the following folders exists

• V3.5
• v4.0

If “v3.5” or “v.4.0” exists

You may be using an operating system where the framework used to work, but has been deactivated.

To check it, go in to your “Control Panel -> Programs and Features ->Turn Windows features on or off”, and make sure that “Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5.1” is filled blue, and click “Ok”.

If “v3.5” or “v.4.0” does not exist

 If you are using Windows XP or Windows Vista

Download and install the framework 3.5 from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/959209

If you are using Windows 7

Turn Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 on using the method above

5. Other messages.

This trial of littleNudge has now expired.

You are using a trial version that has expired!
The expiration period is 7 days.

This application has already been installed on another computer
You can’t install the Personal version on 2 different computers.
Please contact us to buy another license.

The application can't access to the registry
A problem occurred with the registry of your computer.
Try a registry cleaner.

Please check your internet connection!
The registration for littleNudge requires an internet connection.
